What is Notice And Demand’s membership program?
Notice And Demand is working towards being powered by members who support keeping our platform free and accessible to all, through our membership program. We ask our most active and committed users to donate a small amount monthly to help improve and maintain our free site for people everywhere to create change.
Donations are received by Interest Of Justice Media Inc., a US NON Profit that supports citizen-led social movements in countries all over the world. Donations may have tax advantages – please check with your tax advisor.
What do donations support?
When you donate to Interest Of Justice Media Inc. (“Interest Of Justice”), you are making an unrestricted donation to support Interest Of Justice’s mission, including to provide tools and support for citizen-led campaigning. Interest Of Justice does not keep the funds donated at a country level. These funds are reinvested back in the local country office to support its mission to support citizen-led campaigning.
What is Notice And Demands impact model?
Notice And Demand is a network of nonprofits based in a diverse set of countries with very different realities. We see that the current technology alone will not maximize the potential for social change. We want to go further, by incubating and accelerating citizen-led, technology-driven social movements on critical issues. We are a learning organization. We ask big questions about social change and empowerment and find new ways to achieve our mission.
We are impact-driven. As a non-profit, we will always prioritize maximizing impact. Wherever possible, we design our work so that the products and value it creates are free, open and commons-based, creating a shared environment for social good.
Why do you need donations?
As a NON Profit , we are required to reinvest all of our revenue back into activities that advance our mission. All of the revenue we make is reinvested into the platform to help empower people to win their campaigns, every day.
Notice And Demand offers free grassroots training and support to users of the Notice And Demand platform primarily in North America, Latin America, Asia, and the Middle East, through locally registered not for profit chapters. The Foundation is funded through a combination of small donations and philanthropic funds.
Can I change my donation amount?
Of course! You can change your membership donation at any time by visiting https://www.Noticeanddemand.org/account_settings/contributions or by logging into your Notice And Demand account and then navigating to Settings > Manage Donations.
Can I cancel my membership?
Yes, you can cancel your membership at any time by visiting https://www.noticeanddemand.org/account_settings/contributions or by logging into your Notice And Demand account and then navigating to Settings > Manage Donations and selecting “Stop Donations”.
